On this particular day,
I set out to one very particular beach , one that i had heard so much about and decided i just had to visit.
The Riva Beach Club in Palm Jumeirah, Dubai
Palm Jumeirah is a world famous palm tree-shaped man-made island in Dubai,
Made up of posh hotels and pricy 5 star resorts, restaurants, upscale residential apartment buildings, food trucks, beach clubs and spas.
But most of all,
It is mostly recognized because of its extremely photogenic and aesthetic surroundings that seemed to make every picture taken in the area simply POP!
It also boasts of it’s amazing view of the entire Dubai coastline and an astonishing view of the world famous 7 star Burj Al Arab hotel right from anywhere on the island.

Access Prices And Discounts | Best Beach Clubs In Dubai
Because I was staying at the Tryp by Wyndham hotel,
I was given a discount on the access to this private beach club, paying a total of AED 50 instead of the regular entrance fee of AED 175 that was usually charged.
This amount enabled me access to the transportation,
A bus that took me from the hotel at 11.30 pm to the location and kept returning every hour to pick up guests who like me, were also visiting the beach club for the day.
It also gave me access to the entire beach club and pool and an added 20% discount on food and drinks i purchased from the many restaurants and bars available at the club.
Entering The Riva Beach Club | Best Beach Clubs In Dubai
The venue, part of the residential apartments in the area was quiet and a nice place to relax when you stressed.
It also has a salon, some shops and a couple of restaurants.
On getting to the venue, i was guided to a reception where i had to check in and confirm our hotel booking before i was given wrist bands and towels.
Towel Provision & Changing Areas
Even though i was given towels from my hotel, i was also offered extra towels at beach club reception during the check in and that was really nice.
The towels had to be of course returned to the reception at the end of the day, but it was nice to have more towels.
I was shown to the locker room and changing rooms to change before proceeding to the beach area.
The Riva Beach Club Pool Side
The club was very family friendly….
There were lots of kids playing and running around and it could be one of the best destinations for a family vacay.
The pool was really nice and cool and was temperature controlled,
This was really important because the temperature on that day was about 51 degrees which was terribly hot.
It was so busy but i managed to find a sunbed on the beach not too far from the pool side where i could stay since all the sun beds at the pool were all taken.
I preferred the sunbeds by the pool side because it was much cooler, but since i couldn’t find one, i had to keep going back and forth into the pool to keep cool.
Even though it was quite stressful, it was definitely worth it!
The Riva Beach Club Views
This place is really beautiful,
There’s so much green everywhere, lots of trees and beautiful flowers made it the perfect place to take a picture or make a video
It looks like something out of a movie,
it’s just amazing.
The restaurant and bars surround the pool and so you can see people swimming while eating and vice versa.
There are also a couple of picture worthy spots available at the location incase you decide to be creative.
You can see the entire view of the beach shoreline and residential apartments from the beach.
Riva Beach Sitting Areas
The beach has more sunbeds and space compared to the pool…
In the evening when it’s no longer sunny, this can be the perfect spot to take relax and unwind..
The sunbeds are arranged in sets of two’s and food when ordered from any of the restaurants or bars are delivered on your sunbed.
I had a 20 percent discount on the food and drinks with my access and so i used it to order a pinacolada, some fries and chocolate ice cream.
The food was really good…..
The water at the beach was very clean and clear, clearly well maintained…
Areas for swimming in the beach had already been marked out and swimmers couldn’t go beyond that point.
The people are nice and friendly and it was just one of the best places anyone could be.

Riva beach club is one of the best beach clubs in dubai.
It’s a really nice place to spend a day full of relaxation and fun and what’s more!
It’s so family friendly!
I recommend going when its not too hot though, otherwise, the temperature can be quite unbearable.
Other than that, it’s just perfect!
